                                                                 Johna Vee Hayes

1925 – 2008

 MAGNA-Our beloved Johna Vee McAnally Richardson Hayes passed away March 2, 2008 surrounded by her family.  She was born on November 10, 1925 in Taft, CA to John F. and Pearl McAnally. She married Clifford Richardson on September 20, 1942; he died August 18, 1966.  She married Thomas C. Hayes March 20, 1981; he died March 4, 2003.  They were faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in many callings and remaining faithful to the end to our Heavenly Father.

            She is survived by her children, Johna Vee Richardson, Robert (Susan) Richardson, Norma (Gary) Strauch, Carol Richardson, and Ruth (Paul) Lewis; 14 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; brother, Tom (Betty) McAnally; sisters, Mary Brady and Willseydee Brady; and extended loving family.  She was preceded in death by husbands, Clifford and Thomas; son, Clifford Jr.; and sister, Ola Porter.

            The family would like to thank the Applegate Hospice for their kindness and care given to Johna Vee and her family.

            Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Elk Run Chapel, 3610 So. 8400 W.  Friends and family may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 So., and Wednesday 10-10:45 a.m. at the church.  Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com.
