Levi Joseph Trujillo Sr. 1924 – 2008 Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle, Levi Joseph Trujillo Sr. passed away May 1, 2008. He was born in Questa, NM to Juan Trujillo and Garina Arellano on November 4, 1924. Levi married Rose Romero on February 10, 1956 in Taos, NM. Dad served in the US Navy during WWII. He had a great love for his family and enjoyed getting together and playing cards. His family will miss him greatly. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rose; his children, Levi Jr., Johnny (Maria), Rosalie (Tyler “Rick”) Chacon, JoAnn Medina, and Beverly (Raymond) Martinez; siblings, Ernest, Margaret, and Emilinda; 21 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; sons, Albert & James; son-in-law, Johnny Medina; 3 brothers; 1 sister; and 1 great grandson. The family extends a special thanks to Applegate Hospice and Rev. Andrzej Skrzypiec. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 S. 9000 W., Magna. Friends and family may call Sunday 6-7 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna and where a prayer service will be held Sunday 7 p.m. Committal: Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
