Byron C. Stone slipped peacefully into the arms of his Father in Heaven on
February 7, 2011.
He will always be remembered as a good dad, great grandpa, and the greatest great grandpa. He was an avid golfer and BYU fan, but his true passion in life was his family.
He married Linda Marie Jones on September 26, 1960; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Cloward and father, Clay E. Stone.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; sons, Ken (Michelle), Dennis (Teena), Patricia Stone, Sherilyn Allen, and Guy; 24 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Jordan North Stake Center, 3900 S. 4000 W. Friends and family may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, and Saturday 12-12:45 p.m. at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
