CONNIE JOYCE GUYMON SHINN

Born June 27TH 1952, Daughter of Charlotte and John Guymon, joined her Heavenly Father, and her parents, as well as her three brothers, Jack Guymon, Jim Guymon, and Jay Guymon on the morning of June 18th 2011, due to complications from Diabetes and her failing health.

She is survived by her three children, Christy Whitmore (husband, Wayne, children Destinie , Whitnee, and Landon); her son, Jason Guymon (wife, Jen, children, Carson, Sierra, Jason Jr. Jaxon, and Jace); her youngest daughter, Charolet Cortez (husband, Benjamin, children Jaiden, Adriana, and Sandra).  She is also survived by her sister, Kay Behunin and her sister-in-law, Jackie Guymon, who both loved her very much, and her special friend, Mark Jackson. She also had numerous nieces and nephews who loved her and whom she loved very much.

Family was everything to her, and she always wanted to help them in any way she could.

She always put herself last; making sure her family had everything they needed.

Thank you everyone for all that you’ve done you know who you are, and a special thanks to my brother for holding us together during this tough time. Also, to Mark Jackson for being there when she needed him.

            Memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the city park, 3995 S. 700 W.
