1929 – 2010
MAGNA-Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Dale Reed Hansen passed away October 24, 2010 in Magna, Utah. He was born May 24, 1929 in Morgan, Utah to Lionel and Vadna Heiner Hansen. He married Carole Dymock May 23, 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dale was honorably discharged from the US Army as M/Sgt. after the Korean War. He retired from Tooele Army Depot after 37 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and dancing, and was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather,
He is survived by his wife, Carole; children, Debbie Fordham and Derek Hansen; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Elaine (Fred) Hale and Sandra (Gary) McKluskey; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Kevin Fordham; and brother, Vaughn.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Lake Ridge 9th Ward, 7825 W. Sharon Dr. (3340 S.). Friends and family may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., and Thursday 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
