HELEN MARIE ROBERTS

Helen Marie Roberts was born June 24^th, 1934 in Yuma Colorado to Ralph and Alice Davis. She passed away the morning of February 18^th, 2011. On July 30^th, 1954 she married Duane L. Roberts the two were together for 57 years. They had three children Harvey Roberts, John Drake and Sandra Drake. They moved to Utah in 1960 and have lived here ever since. Later came the grandchildren from Harvey there is Melody, from John there is Travis, from Sandra there is Jennifer, Natalie, Nichole and James. Then came the great grandchildren, From Travis there is Justice and Madison from Natalie there is Jeffrey and Riley, from Nichole and Jared there is Alexia and Nora  She was a very active person and  liked different types of crafts including knitting and crocheting. She loved to go bowling and playing cards with her friends. Also mom was a great cook and homemaker.  She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. In her later years she discovered that she had MS a very debilitating disease. She was very strong willed and battled this to the end. It is hard to describe someone’s life in such a short time but she lived a good full life and had many enjoyable years. The family would like to make a special thanks to mother’s neighbor Sharon for being there when she needed her. The family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers a donation to your local MS chapter be made. She will be greatly missed by all of us. We are sure that she is in a better place now and God can watch over her. Graveside services will be held 12 noon, February 22, 2011 at Valley View Meorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
