Karen Nelson Weaver           

1942-2011

Karen Nelson Weaver, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Jan. 22, 2011 after along battle with gallbladder cancer.

She was born on Dec. 3, 1942 to Ernest D. and Belva Nelson. She attended Granite High School. Married Thornley King in 1963, they had four children; and later divorced. She later married Norman (Buck) Weaver in March 1978; he passed away in 1979.

She is survived by her children, Peter (Lori) King, Todd (Lynn) King, Tim (Debbie) King, Elisha (Ray) Fullerton; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her 4 brothers, many nieces, nephews and many friends.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Mark.

Karen was a kind and generous woman.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Copperhills 5^th Ward, 4333 S. 6400 W., where friends and family may call Saturday 10:30-11:45 a.m.  Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
