Lawrence L. Marquez

1964 – 2011

            Our beloved father, son, grandfather, brother, and friend, Lawrence Louis Marquez passed away suddenly from an accidental death in his home January 2, 2011.  He was born July 17, 1964 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Porfirio B. and Ida Marie Griego Marquez.  He married Jeannine, later divorced.  Married Chris, later divorced.

            Lawrence enjoyed fishing, had a great sense of humor, and was always willing to help others.

            He is survived by his children, Cocoa Marquez, Trisha Marquez, Mercedes Marquez, and Savannah Marquez; mother, Ida; grandchildren, Nike, Zoey, Deja, and Lexie; brothers and sisters, Alez Marquez, Jim (Connie) Marquez, Hazel (Steve) Barr, and Jolene (Jeff) Welch; and very best friend, Raymond Mondragon.

            He was preceded in death by his father; and brothers, Fred and Anthony.
