Marsha Jeanne Daniel

1943 – 2010

            Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Marsha J. Maynes Daniel, 66, passed away on April 17, 2010 surrounded by her family.  She valiantly endured countless physical struggles with amazing strength, faith, and good humor for many years.

            Born May 18, 1943 in SLC, UT to John Maynes and Jeanne Walters.  She married Alvah R. Daniel, Sr. November 27, 1964 in Fernley, NV; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on July 10, 1976.

            Marsha is survived by her 9 children, Theresea Daniel, John, Fred, Ron, Sue Daniel, Matthew (Kim), Melissa Daniel, Harvey, Crystal (Justin) Rigby, 16 grandchildren; stepson, Rick; 7 brothers and sisters; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Nathan; brothers, Keith and Terry.

            Marsha will be remembered for her stubborn determination, faith, and great love of children and family.  Marsha would want to thank all those who have helped her in her challenges, recoveries, and caretaking.

            Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Pleasant Green Chapel, 8937 W. 3000 S., Magna, where friends and family may call Thursday 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services.  Interment: Pleasant Green Cemetery.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
