Ren Kathleen Jones Will Be Missed Ren Kathleen Jones passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on April 8, 2010, returning to the loving arms of her husband, Milton P. Jones. She is a member of the LDS Church and has served faithfully in many callings. Kathy loved helping others and being a homemaker. One of Kathy's greatest joys was singing and being a member of the church choir. Kathy enjoyed being with family. She is survived by her mother, 11 brothers and sisters and her five children: Daleen (Jeff) Thurman, Dolores (Chris) Scott, Dale (Diana) Phillips, Debra (Adam) Pratt, Diana (Levi) Huffaker. Kathy has nine beautiful grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her family appreciates and gives thanks to staff at the Utah Cancer Specialist and the caregivers and staff at Utah Hospice Specialists for all their loving care and support. A viewing will be held Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, Utah. The funeral service will be Friday, April 16, at 11 a.m. at the LDS church located at 8059 W. 2700 S. in Magna with a viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will take place in the Valley View Memorial Park.
