Rita Sudbury Conklin

1947 – 2012

 Magna, UT-Rita Joanne Sudbury Conklin was born on August 9, 1947 to Albert and Mary Sudbury.  She grew up in Garfield and Magna and was a proud graduate of Cyprus High School class of 1965.  She met her true love, Donald Conklin in San Francisco, CA and married him in Reno, NV on November 1, 1969. Together in Magna they raised two children and stayed side by side until Don passed away in 1996. Rita was a dedicated employee with UPS for 25 years.  She enjoyed her family, friends, shopping, bingo, and the slots.  She will always be remembered for her fun loving, generous and outgoing personality.

She is survived by her daughter, Tara (Mike) Kelly; son, Donny; 1 grandson, Andrew; brothers, Sonny (Sherry), John (Jackie), and Mick; and lots of family and great friends.
