Tommy Arden
Rowland, 66, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 after battling pulmonary
fibrosis. He was born July 6, 1944 in
Phillipsburg, Kansas to Susiebelle Wilson and Ira Rowland. He married Judy
Barr March 4, 1974 in Elko, NV.
Tommy served in the US Army, moved to Utah in 1970, and worked and
retired from Questar Corp. He loved 4-wheeling, fishing, target shooting,
and being outdoors. Tommy had a big
heart, was very patient, loved everyone unconditionally, and was an amazing
husband, father, grandfather and friend. He shared entertaining stories
and had a great sense of humor.
Tommy is
survived by his wife, Judy Barr; son, Buddy (Jeannie); daughters, Kimberly
(Justin) Wood, Sherri (Bryan) Westegaard, and Vicki (Don) Miller; 11
grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
We love you
and will miss you dearly.
He was
preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob, Jay, and John.
Memorial
services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Taylorsville, 10th
Ward, 1950 W. 4950 S. Private
