The following is Elmer’s story he wanted to share with all of us….
I served my country in Vietnam for 21 months and survived I thought! Reflections of that conflict haunted me every day. I am at peace now!
I married my high school sweetheart Charlotte Manzanares, before a failed marriage we shared three wonderful children which we both loved endlessly. Phillip (Sharyn) Lobato, Althea Lobato (Wally) and Andrea (Zack) Howard. I share my love with my grandchildren: Savon, Faith, Keana, Niyah, Leah, Jayden and 6 great grandchildren.
Survived by Sisters Cliseria Bruce and Delores Muniz of Utah County and “brother” Ken Powell. Preceded in death by Mother (Josie), Father (Filadelifo), Sisters (Juanita, Patsy) Brothers (Leland, Kenneth), and my fallen brothers and sisters.
I will miss you all endlessly. Celebrate, do not be unhappy. God Bless All and God Bless America!
