Bart, 64, Passed away from his battle with cancer on June 3rd, 2025 in Murray, Utah surrounded by family.

He was born on June 30th, 1960, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Norman William and Sylvia Inez (Nilsson) Golder.

He graduated from Brighton High School in June 1978. Bart met the love of his life Torie Ricks while working at Francesco’s. They got married on January 13th, 1982, in South Jordan, UT and had three beautiful children: Felicia, Tayla and Kyle.

Bart was a lifelong electrician at both Kennecott and The United States Post Office. He was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, camper, hang-glider, golfer, water skier, and snow skier. He loved sports, movies, music and made excellent salsa. He was incredibly generous, knowledgeable, caring, and thoughtful. In losing him, we lost a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He was a lifelong Utes fan and remained a Utah man until the day he died, Ki-yi!

He is preceded in death by daughter, Felicia Dawn Golder; and father, Norman William Golder.

Bart is survived by his loving wife, Torie; devoted mother, Sylvia; daughter, Tayla Somerville (Andy); son, Kyle Golder (Amber); sisters, Karen Nieto (Tony) and Val Steed (Jeff); lifelong friend, Merrit Arnell; and four grandchildren, Easton, Olivia, McKenna & Bodhi.

Viewing held at Peel Funeral Home in Magna Utah on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025, from 9:30am-11:00am. Followed by private family services.
