Buster Edwards

Buster Edwards, 93, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in Tooele, Utah. Buster was born on December 18, 1931, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Cyrus and Obie Henderson Edwards. Buster married Elsie Mae Driden on August 30, 1968, in Kansas City, Missouri. 

Buster was a three-million-mile semi truck driver for Consolidated Freight Lines. He retired in 1996. Buster spent his retirement years traveling with Elsie and spending cherished time with family and friends. 

Buster is survived by Janice (Joe) Sciarrotta of California, Mitchell (Carol) Edwards of Virginia, Kimberly Edwards of Missouri, Deanna (Edwards) Whaley of Utah, and Joel Derek (Julie) Edwards of Oregon. 

Buster was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elsie; three daughters, Lorie Edwards, Cindy Beeman Daddow, and Janet Beeman Kingrey; grandsons, Quade Witt and Ian Flick; brothers, Jim, Arlen, Garlan and Billy; and sisters, Irene and Mary. 

Thanks to the Mormon Church for letting Pa announce his accepting that "Jesus is Lord" and making sure he was baptized in the Eyes of the Lord, and that he was accepted into the priesthood which allowed him to go to the temple, a very proud moment for him and us, his family. We are thankful to know he finally accepted God.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 4pm at Our House Assisted Living. 251 1000 N. Main Street, Tooele, UT.
