Carol Ann Scott, Tooele, UT went home to be with her Lord on November 2, 2016. She was born October 15, 1936 in Minneapolis, MN to Norman & Laura (Lidberg) Bucholdt. Carol was a devoted Mother, Teacher, and Nurse. She attended Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna, MN. Later she attended Tri State College and received her degree. After serving as a nanny for Gaylord Scott she and Gaylord were married on November 24, 1967.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gaylord Scott, six children, Betty and John Enlund, Diane & Philip Parish, Alan & Theresa (Morton) Scott, Joan & Butch Teal, Steven Scott, Bryan & Kelly (Henson) Scott, one sister LaVonne Rieter,  eleven grandchildren, Lindsey Wooten, Jackie Graham, Teri Sanford, Steven Mark Scott II, Elisabeth Parish, Jamin Parish, Mark Parish, Ashton Hutton, David Parish, Kristin Scott, Jay Scott, and eighteen great grandchildren, Tyson Coats, Lanayah Coats, Adrian Wooten,  Aleigha Hutton, Alaura Hutton, Kayleigh Scott, Lee Scott, Steven Mark Scott III, Audrey Baker, Leo Graham, Sabrina Sanford, Rhianna Sanford, Audrianna Sanford, James Sanford Jr., Jeremiah Turner, J’Aaliyah Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents Norman & Laura Bucholdt, brother Arvid Bucholdt, sister Audrey Swenson, daughter Brenda Scott, great grandchildren Christopher Baker and Sierra Baker.

Family visitation will be Monday November 7, 2016 from 12:30-1 PM with a memorial service following at 1 PM at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, UT. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the building fund of Mountain View Baptist Church, PO Box 837, Grantsville, UT 84029.
