Connie Gertsch Alexander 

July 17th 1941 - July 18th 2022

In Loving memory of our mother, she passed away at home peacefully with family by her side. On July 18th 2022 at the age of 81.

She was born July 17th 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah. To Walter and Lillian (Hughes) Gertsch. She was a very hard working strong lady, she retired at the age of 75. Her last job was a security guard at the University of Utah. She talked about her place in Tabiona. That was her favorite place to be. She put so much work into it and made it beautiful inside and outside. She loved to decorate. Connie loved the outdoors, working in her yard, and gardening was her passion. She had an amazing green thumb and the love of nature. 

She was survived by her children: Dawn Harvey, Wendy (Mark) Harris, Christine Kennell, Barry (Nancy) Alexander. 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchildren. (Nephew) Marty Elizondo. 

She was preceded in death by, Dad (Walter), Mother (Lillian) Gertsch, Sister (Carol), Brother In-Law (Phil), Nephew (James) Elizondo, and Cousin (Paul) Gertsch. 

We would like to give a big thanks to all the Nurses, Nurses Aid, and Doctors at the Rocky Mountain Home Health and Hospices for taking such good and loving care of our mother. 

We will be having a Celebration of Life for Connie at Jason Harris Home 8394 Snow Canyon Drive, West Jordan. On Saturday August 27th at 4pm to 8pm. Contact Wendy Harris (801)-865-0211 please R.S.V.P so we know for food.
