David John Nelson born July 12, 1985, beloved son, brother and father passed away on July 19, 2023 at the age of 38 up in the mountains, doing what he always enjoyed doing.

Survived by his parents, John and Wendy Nelson; two sisters, Kimberly Wolfblack and Tammy Nelson; one brother, Keven Nelson; his son, Daylen Nelson; grandparents, Keith and Nancy Rushton and Pearl Nelson; brother-in-law, Royal Wolfblack; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Kelly Rushton.

He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping, whatever got him up into the mountains was what he enjoyed doing. He had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone, it didn’t matter.

A visitation will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West Magna Main St. (2700 S.) Magna, Utah from 9:30-11:00 AM followed by Funeral Services at 11 AM. Interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 S., West Valley City, Utah.

There will be a Celebration for Life on Sunday, August 6th at 5 PM at 4270 S. 5400 W. West Valley City, Utah.
