Deborah Lynn Drake

Debbie, 61, passed away on January 18, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on January 5, 196,5 in Carson City, Nevada, to Mary Riggs and Randy Buist. Debbie married Rick Drake in Salt Lake City, and they were married for 40 years.

Debbie was a beautiful soul, a loving mother, grandma, and sister. She was a good mother to her children and a faithful, loving wife to her soul mate, Rick. She loved life. She was the glue that held the family together. She loved to laugh. She was the one everyone could turn to. She was a mom to everyone. Debbie will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her husband, Ricky; her children, Ashley (Faron), Joshua (Alexa), Brittanie (Henry), and Lily; her grandchildren, Teyha, Addison, and Olivia her siblings, Darryl (Jenn), Lynn, Gail, Shelly, JJ, Shannon, Cheyenne (Mike); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by her mother, Mary; father, Randy; sister, Danielle; son, Michael, and her granddog, Pimpin.

Services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Peel Funeral Home
