DeMar passed away unexpectedly on May 22, 2023. Brother, uncle, and friend he will be truly missed, he was loved by many.
DeMar is preceded in death by his father, Arza Pope; mother, Marie Greenland; and brother, Jay Pope. Demar was the youngest of 5 children. He is survived by brother, Randall Pope; sister, Annette Miller; and brother, Mark Pope.
DeMar was a welder by trade, but his talents were many. He was definitely one of a kind. He was kind, gentle, and would offer a hand if anyone needed help. he loved the outdoors. He loved to fish, camp, ride his Harley, go rock hunting and play horseshoes. He had many hobbies.
DeMar loved his family and friends. He and his sister, Annette had a special bond. Annette always took care of him no matter what. He defied death many times and she was always there to bring him back with devoted love and encouragement. DeMar had many demons during his lifetime, now he is free. He will truly by missed.
There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m., June 30, 2023 at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Redwood Rd. There will also be a Celebration of Life at the family home, 5250 S. Leprechaun Lane, Kearns, UT 84118, from 5-10 p.m. on June 30, 2023, this will be a potluck and BBQ.
