Dixie Lee Obray Vaughn

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Dixie Lee Vaughn passed away peacefully after a brief illness on December 6, 2022. She was born April 2, 1936 in Garfield, UT to Lucille Coon and Lee Bradley Obray. Married Lloyd LeRoy Vaughn November 18, 1955 in Magna, UT; he died October 2, 2016.

Dixie always had a positive attitude and could find a silver lining in everything. She had a great group of lifetime friends who meant so much to her. She treasured her youth in Garfield, UT and had great experiences there. She cherished her grandchildren and they have wonderful memories of her.

Dixie is survived by her children, Lynda (Douglas) Garff, Bradley K. Vaughn, LeAnn (Brent) Rino, and Rex L. Vaughn; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Rex Obray; daughter-in-law, Stanlie Vaughn; and two grandsons, Jarom Garff and Adam Garff.

Graveside services will be held 12 noon Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Pleasant Green Cemetery, 9200 W. 3500 S.
