Dominic Antonio Dakota Walden

Dominic Antonio Dakota Walden, age 32, Midvale Utah, born November 12, 1993, in Salt Lake City, Utah, departed this life on August 2, 2026.

He was the beloved son of Stacy Lee and Larry Lee.

Dominic was a dreamer at heart, a dedicated Client Relations Professional, and a talented creative who found joy in making beats and designing fashion, “Fortunately, a few of us were blessed to have shirts created by him”. He had a unique bond with each of his family members. He also had a vast circle of friends whose lives he touched with his warmth and kindness.

One of the greatest joys in his life was food. Although he was skinny, he had the heart and appetite of a true foodie. He loved discovering new flavors, collecting recipes, and dreaming up creative dishes to share with those around him. It wasn't unusual to receive a text from him with a recipe he wanted to try or a new meal he had invented.

He believed that food was meant to be shared, and every recipe, every meal, and every new creation reflected the warmth, excitement, and generosity that made him so special. His passion for cooking and exploring new tastes will remain a cherished memory for everyone who knew and loved him.

He is loved and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his fiancee, Jacquelyn Vea, of Midvale, Utah; his children, Dakota and Donovan Walden, from McDonough, GA. and Glendale, Utah, grandmother Mary Kimble Glendale Utah, his aunt/mother, Tracy Favor, and husband, Kenneth Favor, of Park City, Utah; his cousin/brother, Otis Nicholson and wife Moriah Nicholson from Herriman; his uncle, Craig Walden, and wife, Jodi Walden, of Glendale, Utah; and his surviving siblings, Daija and Danika Lee, of McDonough, Georgia, LaQuana Lee, of Columbia, South Carolina, Chardae Alexander, of Douglasville, Georgia, and Lindsay Lee, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Aunt Barbara Lee of Albany, GA Michael Barnes representing the Barnes family from Mississippi/Georgia. 

He had a host of nieces and nephews, including Jabari and Maleek, of Columbia SC, James and Kingston, of Douglasville, Georgia; and Anaïs and Eivay, of Herriman, Utah. 

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Felicia Barnes; his cousin/sister, Nastassia Goldmas-Fields; and his uncle, Oscar Walden (known as Bo).

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has surrounded us with love, prayers, kind words, and support during this incredibly difficult time.

While our hearts are heavy with loss, we find strength in knowing that Dominic touched so many lives. Your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten. May God bless each of you for the love you have shown during this time.  We must remember during this difficult time the words of James 1:13 "When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone.
