Donald "Donnie" Ray Simons

Donnie Simons of Magna, Utah, passed away July 8, 2025. He was born October 17, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Donnie Simons was a peaceful and optimistic man who loved hanging out with his family. He enjoyed camping and road trips with his brothers, sister, nieces and nephews. He was a devout Kansas City Chiefs fan and rarely missed a game. He was very happy to see the franchise turn into a dominant force and earn a fourth Super Bowl title.

Donnie liked electronic gadgets of all types from the latest cell phones, laptops to night vision binoculars. Often the gadgets exceeded his and others capabilities but he always managed to figure them out. Donnie loved his tools, often keeping them locked up and protected ensuring they were safe. He also loved watching Japanese anime and few if any really know why.

His favorite pastime were his motorcycles, purchasing a Harley in 1981, he kept the bike through all the years with the hopes of riding again someday regardless of how out of reach that goal really was. He enjoyed standing at the Lonestar Saloon and hanging out at Rich's Shop Equipment enjoying a few beers for many years.
