Donna Oliver Turpin

Donna Margaret Oliver Turpin passed away peacefully at Our House Assisted Living Facility in Tooele, Utah on December 12, 2022 at the age of 88.

Born September 18, 1934 in Elmo, Utah to Orcel and Gladys Oliver.  Married Kenneth J. Turpin on April 27, 1963; they were married for 44 years. 

She worked as a nurse’s aide for 15 years and for Utah Department of Motor Vehicle where she retired after 20 years.  Traveling, going camping and fishing in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter and especially spending time with family brought her joy. 

Survived by son LaVon L. Turpin (Debra), son Jack L. Turpin (Tonia), son Kent L. Turpin (Bernie) and daughter Cherrie Ann Raetz (Mike), 11 grandchildren: Trudy Rowley, David Turpin, Nick Turpin, Amber Ellner, Mandi Wilson, Sheila Martindale, Jared Turpin, Justin Turpin, Jalina Olsen, Rachel Pope and Kalie Raetz.  She has 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grand child. 

Proceeded in death by son David L. Bath, husband Kenneth J. Turpin, her parents Orcel and Gladys Oliver, 3 brothers Lamar Kearns, LeRoy and Darrell Oliver.

There will be a viewing on December 19^th at Peel Funeral Home 8525 W. 2700 S. Magna from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.  Then a graveside service at Valley View Cemetery 4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley City at 2:00 pm.
