Dwight, 77, passed away on July 6th, 2024, in Magna Utah.

He was born on February 9th, 1947, in Salt Lake City Utah to George Warren (GW) & Marjorie Marshall.

He grew up in Salt Lake surrounded by his brothers and sisters and always taking part in the shenanigans. Some his, some theirs, but always with love and a strong kinship.

Dwight met his loving wife Susan Andreason while they both worked at Walgreen’s Drugstore. Dwight married Susan on July 14th, 1966, in Magna Utah.

Dwight served in the Army during the Vietnam war earning an honorable discharge in 1968. He spent the majority of his working time with Meadow Gold Dairy and retired in 2008 after 36 years.

Traveling was an important part of his life. Whether this was camping with family and later in his retirement years, traveling to many countries with family and friends.  

He was an honorable man, and many knew that he could be counted on for sage advice and keeping things on schedule. His incredible memory was well known. He was a great father to both his 4 children and many other foster children.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Susan Marshall; his children, Michael (Phyllis), Jeffery (Marilyn), MariLee & Cody (Amber); a brother, Bernell & his sisters, Rita & Wendy, 15 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Warren & Marjorie Marshall; and his brother, Verlan Marshall.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 15th at 11:00 AM at Peel Funeral Home located at 8525 W. Magna Main St. Magna, Utah 84044. The viewing will precede at 10:00 AM until 10:45AM.
