“Bobo”

Edward “Bobo” Gutierrez, 59 of Magna, Utah, peacefully passed away on December 19, 2017 surrounded by his love ones.

Edward is finally free of all the vices this world has to offer. He never pretended to be someone different than who he was. He always helped anyone in need even if it meant giving them the shirt off his back.  Bobo always said, “IF YOU WANT IT I CAN GET IT IF I CAN’T GET IT YOU DONT NEED IT “.

Edward was born in Farmington, New Mexico on June 22,1959.

He married Darlene Romero in 1975 then later divorced, remarried Monique then later divorced.

Bobo was a cement finisher for over 35 years.  He loved to listen to oldies music.  Bobo will be remembered for the marble he kept in his ear and making walking sticks for himself and others.

He is survived by his mother, Rose, children; Lydia, Elizabeth(Jerry), Thomas(Jackie), Andrew(Michelle), Angelo(Margaret), Estevan, brothers; Leo(Jane), Alvin, Joey, Stephan, sister, Carol(Kim) and many other family and friends.

Bobo was preceded in death by his son, Edward, father, William, brother, Billy, sister, Louise.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W 2700 S, Magna. Visitations will be 6-8 pm Friday December 29, 2017 at the mortuary and 10-10:45 am Saturday prior to services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.

A luncheon will follow services 1-3:30 pm at the Kennecott Copper Seniors Center, 9228 W Magna Main St, Magna, Utah.
