Edward (Eddie) Armond Trujillo Jr.

Eddie was the bravest man ever known. He defied all odds with his fierce force of “I’m a Trujillo" you can’t beat my attitude. 

Eddie, 65, passed away January 29, 2026 at St. Mark’s Hospital. He was born August 16, 1960 in West Valley City to Edward and Elizabeth Trujillo. Eddie married Rhonda Hulse on March 19, 2004 in the Jordan River Temple. 

Eddie was born with Cerebral Palsy, although disabled he achieved great things in his life. Graduated from Cyprus High School in 1979. He was a proud Pirate through and through. Although he wasn’t accepted into the military he proudly represented the high school ROTC. He was an active member of the Magna Lions Club and eventually achieved President status. 

One of his favorite things to do was to play his records and listen to his old country tunes. If he wasn’t listening to music, he was watching TV with his Diet Coke, Orville Redenbacher movie theater popcorn with the love of his life Rhonda. His most favorite TV shows to watch were WWE Wrestling along with a good old western, or just a good old time movie. Eddie loved spending long hours chatting and reminiscing with his friends and family. 

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rhonda; siblings, Sherri Bartholomew, Sue (Mike) Walker, Salvador (Dodie) Martinez, Sandra (Adam) Sadler, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and cherished family members.

Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Elizabeth Trujillo; and in-laws, Rodney and Linda Hulse.

We would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Villa, especially the tender loving care from “Chica”. 

In his final days, we extend our greatest gratitude for the ICU team at St. Marks Hospital. It was humbling to have the doctor provide such compassion with Eddie, along with our fierce Lauren who led his care and assisted him to his final resting place.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Lake Ridge 11th Ward, 7825 W. Sharon Drive, Magna, Utah
