FAY OLSEN WORTHEN YEATES

Our mother, Fay Olsen Worthen Yeates passed away peacefully Monday morning January 14, 2013. She was born in Pleasant View, Idaho on June 2, 1919. Married Delbert Worthen Feb 8 1938. He was killed in the Philippines in WWII on March 19, 1945. Married Leo Keith Yeates September 8, 1946. He passed away December 10, 1996. She spent many years in service to the many Veterans' organizations and was honored to light the torch at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park. She was a Gold Star Mother. She had over 16,000 hours volunteer service at the VA Hospital. She is survived by children, Dellene (Spencer) Alvis, Barbara (Frank) Driffill, Delyn (Vicky) Yeates, Rick (Debbi) Yeates, Don (Val) Yeates, and Tim (Dixie) Yeates; 29 grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husbands, Delbert Worthen and Leo Keith Yeates; sons, Delbert Worthen Jr. and Mike Yeates; and daughter, Cora Jean Miller.
