“Fuzz”

Magna – Ferris Coon, 91 passed away peacefully in his home early Sunday morning, October 4, 2015 after suffering a stroke on September 28, 2015. He was born and raised in Magna where he made many lifelong friends. He enjoyed his family, riding horses in the Oquirrh Mountains, rebuilding tractors, and working with anything related to farming or ranching.

Fuzz married Jean McAllister and together they had three children; Thomas (Karen), Michael (Rita), and Carolyn (Mike) Louderback. They built a home in Lake Ridge subdivision where they made many wonderful memories with their close friends and neighbors. After Jean’s passing Fuzz married Ruth Bunn in 1979 and they had many happy years together. Fuzz found many years of companionship with Betty Craft after Ruth passed away.

Anyone that knew Fuzz understood that he was a hard worker and expected the same from them. He retired from Kennecott Copper Corp. after many years on the track gang.

Fuzz is survived by his son, Michael, daughter, Carloyn, brothers; John, Ken, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great greatgrandchild, nieces and nephews and many friends. He will be missed dearly.

He was proceeded in death by his son, Thomas, brother, Arvel, sister; Loretta, Noriene, Mary, Lorraine.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday October 10, 2015 at the Peel Funeral Home, 8528 W Magna Main St. (2700 S). Visitation will be 10-10:45 am prior to services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park
