Francis A. Warburton (Frank)
1939-2025
Frank Warburton, age 86, peacefully passed away on July 2, 2025, at his home in Lake Point, Utah. He was born on June 8, 1939, in Hoytsville, Utah to Kelly and Zayda Warburton. Frank married the love of his life Jacqueline Zumbrunnen on October 12, 1957, in Salt Lake City at the home of Jack and Dean Zumbrunnen.
Frank’s work career began at Fruehauf Trailer and Faim Sporting Goods. He then got a position at B.P. Amaco and worked there until his retirement.
Frank had a love for the outdoors, especially the Uinta Mountains. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being with his family, and in his later years grew very fond of and attached to his dog Little Bit.
Frank had a vast knowledge of many things. He shared that knowledge with those around him, especially his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed a good grilled burger, and it tasted even better at the cabin in the Uinta's. He could make a mean beer can chicken and butter filled trout. He mastered the skills of fly tying, ammo reloading, gold prospecting, and bird watching. He was a Jeep enthusiast and owned several in his lifetime. On many occasions you could find him tinkering with them and even restoring a few Jeeps over the years. He loved sitting on the back deck at his home and could be found there often.
Thank you to our wonderful Husband, Father, Grandpa, and Friend for all the fun times and wonderful memories. We love and miss you and look forward to the day we will see you again.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Jackie, sons John, Jeff, Joe (Stacy), sister-in-law Carol Olson, brother-in-law Jerry Zumbrunnen, several nieces and nephews, 8 grandchildren, and 11+ great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his twin sons Jackie and Frankie, father Kelly, mother Zayda, sister Carla Saxton, brothers Tim, Tracy, and Doyle Warburton.
Per Frank’s request no funeral will be held. Burial will be at the Coalville City Cemetery following a Graveside service to be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please donate to your favorite charity or go to lunch/dinner and remember the good times.
