Gaylene was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ethel Mae Welsch Stephenson Griffin and Gail Hartley Griffin, and passed away from Parkinson's and Dementia.

Gaylene worked in California and New Mexico at various jobs.

She married Marshal Victor, who preceded her in death. They had a son, Joseph Victor (Calie) of Virginia, and two grandchildren, Cole and Gill.

She married Joseph Edwin Gill of New Mexico, and they later divorced. They had two children, John Gill (deceased) and Jim Gill of Oklahoma.

She is survived by her sister, Diana Daoust Lujan of Tooele, Utah; niece, Teresa Lofy of Florence, Oregon; nephew, David Daoust of Tooele, Utah; and a wonderful friend, Kathy Schultz, who has taken great care of her for many months.

Gaylene is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents, son, John Gill; sister, Joan Stewart; and niece, DeAnn Stewart of Florence, Oregon.

Per Gaylene’s request, she will be cremated with no services.
