**George Christopher Trujillo**
*April 12, 1966 – August 13, 2024*
George "Georgie" Christopher Trujillo, 58, passed away on August 13, 2024, in Magna, Utah. Born on April 12, 1966, to George and Nelia Trujillo, Georgie was raised in Magna alongside his three sisters and brother.
Georgie attended Cyprus High School, he was an accomplished wrestler and football player. He was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Magna, where he served as an altar boy during his youth. Georgie married Corri Wright, and together they welcomed a son, Kyle. Though they later separated, Georgie remained deeply proud of his son.
Georgie faced challenges in his life, including a struggle with substance abuse. Through the support of The Other Side Academy, he overcame these challenges and found a renewed sense of purpose. Upon completing the program, his cousin Troy offered him a job in concrete finishing, which led to a successful career with Tom Stuart Construction. Georgie quickly advanced in his role, earning a work truck—a symbol of his hard-earned accomplishments. Among his greatest joys was the purchase of his beloved Camaro, a car that brought him endless happiness and became a testament to his perseverance.
Georgie is now reunited in Heaven with his parents and sister Cindy. He is survived by his son Kyle, daughter Veronica, sisters Stephanie (Mike) and Michelle (Dona), and brother Lonnie. He also leaves behind nieces Alicia (Bojan) and Ashley; nephews Santino (Jocelyn), Austin, and Chandler (Riley); and great-nieces Natalie and Tatum. Georgie cherished his family, sharing countless barbecues and gatherings filled with love and laughter.
Known for his generosity and kind spirit, Georgie was always ready to lend a helping hand. His warm smile and genuine kindness endeared him to everyone he met. He was especially close to his mother, earning the affectionate title of "Mama’s boy."
Georgie will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Mass will be held in his honor at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Magna, followed by a luncheon on Friday August 23rd at 11 am . All are welcome to attend and celebrate Georgie's life.
