Glen Thornwall

Glen Edwin Thornwall, 92, passed away on September 1, 2024, in Midvale, Utah. Glen was born on June 30, 1932, in Salt Lake City to Nile and Bernice Thornwall. Glen married Doreen Stagg in Salt Lake City on October 14, 1955; their marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. 

Glen was a very caring man with a big heart. He served in the Navy and often shared stories about his service. Glen loved to fish and camp, and enjoyed visiting with people. He had many jobs, but his favorite was driving the van to pick up and drop off people at the Magna Senior Center. Glen loved his daughters very much. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doreen; parents, Nile and Bernice Thornwall; daughter Lisa; stepdaughter, Judy; and sisters, Barbara and Elaine. 

Glen is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Leon) Pullar and Glenna (Lisa) Thornwall; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30 on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, UT. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park at 12:00 pm.
