Ira William Pollock Jr. died peacefully and suddenly at home August 14, 2015. He was born March 24, 1951 to Ira W. Pollock Sr. and Ilse Rosa Borm. Ira loved to fish and hunt, and he had a love for off-road vehicles and loved to go to Moab for the Jeep Safari. He retired from Kennecott Copper after 30 years of service. He loved his family very much and always wanted the best for them. He will be truly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Martin Pollock; daughter, Stephanie (Brandon) Pulli; son, Daniel William Pollock; sister, Helena (Dave Jacobson) Pollock; granddaughters, Tyler Ann (Zachary Mulhern) Pulli and Courtney Pulli; and great grandson, Bradley Kane Mulhern. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 S. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
