Jaimee K. Lloyd

Jaimee K. Lloyd passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 28, 2025, at the age of 54 in Magna, Utah, after a long, courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born on December 3, 1970, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Trudy Jacobs and Ronald Lloyd. Jaimee brought so much energy and light to the world from the very beginning. She had a magnetic personality that drew people in with her funky dance moves and her silly jokes. Jaimee was full of love and fiercely loyal to her family and friends. To know her was to feel seen, loved, and supported.

Jaimee was a dedicated and valued employee at Boart Longyear, where she spent many years building meaningful relationships with her colleagues. The company was exceptionally supportive of her throughout her 22-year tenure, and she treasured not only the work she did but also the friendships and professional bonds she cultivated there. Her coworkers remember her as someone who brought levity and joy to even the most challenging days, always ready with a kind word or a joke to lift spirits.

She was always up for travel and adventure. From the Oregon coast deep sea fishing to fun-filled visits with friends in Minnesota and peaceful walks along the shores of Florida in search of seashells, she mostly enjoyed fishing with her grandson, Kyton. Jaimee embraced each journey with joy and curiosity, pushing the limits like jumping off cliffs or parasailing

When she wasn't working or traveling, Jaimee could often be found indulging in one of her favorite activities – shopping. She had an eye for finding the perfect items, whether she was treating herself or, more often, searching for special gifts for the people she loved. Her shopping adventures were legendary among family and friends, and she delighted in sharing her discoveries and finds with others.

Jaimee is survived by her children, Travis D Pressley, Kyle J Mills, and her baby girl, Whitnee N Adkins. Her cherished grandson, Kyton Mills. Her father, Ronald Lloyd, and stepmother, Sherri Lloyd; her beloved sisters, Janeal Heaton (Johnathan), Janette White (Donoven), and Tori Pitkin (Gerrett); her brothers, Ryan Jones (Erica), Jake Lloyd (Stephanie), and Dylan Lloyd; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and lifelong friends who considered her family.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Trudy (Nana) Rushton; her stepfather, Robert (Bushy) Rushton; and her brothers, Christopher Lloyd and Robert (Bobby) Rushton.

Jaimee was a force—radiant, generous, and unforgettable. Her laughter was contagious, and her handstand skills were unmatched. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched with her humor, love, and infectious zest for life. She truly was loved by all, and while her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit and the joy she brought to the world will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Jaimee’s life at 11 am on August 2nd, 2025, at Peel Funeral Home.
