Janice Poppleton

April 24, 1940 — April 3, 2018

Janice Faye Poppleton, our sweet, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on April 3rd, 2018.

Janice was born in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma in the year 1940. When she was a young girl, she moved to Redondo Beach, and by the year 1986, she moved to Utah, living in Orem, and then moving to Magna, where she resided until her final years.

For most of her life, Janice was a devoted homemaker, who cherished and cared for her four children.

She is survived by 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, and proceeded in death by her husband, Bill Poppleton, and her sister Helen Sue Myrick.

Janice was a strong, willing fighter, who would have gone against the world if it meant keeping her word. She had suffered through many great trials in her life, yet she never ceased to overcome them, even if it meant passing the limits that were perceived as impossible.

Now that she has passed on, we hope that her soul will continue to carry that same power with her onto the next life; the demeanor of a warrior, and the aura a lover. And with this power, she will live strongly through the new beginning that awaits her after the end.

~From Janice's beloved granddaughter, Rosie (Aubrey Rose Torson.)
