Jeff William Rocco

(1961-2018)

STANSBURY- Jeff William Rocco, age 57, died peacefully on December 25th, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. Jeff was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph William and Gayle Ann Rocco, and was raised in Magna, UT. He married Theresa Amidei (1985-2001) with whom he had two children, Tony and Kali.

Jeff was a devoted employee of Ames Construction for the past 17 years and was very fond of those he worked for and worked with. Jeff was larger than life and went above and beyond for everyone he knew and in everything he did. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking and fishing. No matter the situation, Jeff always faced it with a positive attitude. He will be immeasurably missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Joseph. He is survived by his mother, Gayle; brothers, Mark (Shawn) and Mike; his son, Tony (Sherrianne); daughter, Kali (Timothy); grandson, Reid; and love of his life, Traci.

A special thanks to Traci for her unwavering support and care for Jeff through all of his cancer treatment and end of life care.

A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on January 19, 2019 from 4-7 pm at The Gathering Place, in the north end of Gardner Village which is located at 1100 W 7800 S in West Jordan.

There will be a cash bar, (beer and wine) and we will also  be serving refreshments along with  Jeff's favorite beverage, coffee.

Jeff loved his flannel-Friday so feel free to honor him and wear flannel.
