Jeff Sandall

Jeff W. Sandall (“Loaf”), age 71, passed away on January 17, 2026, in Magna, Utah, surrounded by his loving wife and family, after a long illness.

Jeff was born on May 9, 1954, in Murray, Utah, to Wayne L. Sandall and LaVelle Hill Sandall. The oldest of five children, he grew up in Magna, where he formed lifelong friendships and deep family roots that shaped the man he became. A natural athlete from a young age, Jeff excelled in multiple sports. He graduated from Cyprus High School, where he especially stood out in golf—a passion that would remain with him throughout his life.

On April 7, 1977, Jeff married the love of his life, Chris Bezzant. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family. In his younger years, Jeff worked at the Magna Copper Golf Club, where he not only made lifelong friends but also took his golf game to the next level. Golf was truly his passion, and through dedication and hard work, he earned and won the Club Championship and proudly achieved a hole-in-one. Jeff was also an accomplished bowler, ultimately bowling a perfect 300 game and receiving recognition from the American Bowling Congress (ABC).

Jeff was a natural salesman and followed in his father’s footsteps, working in the family’s independent non-food sales representative business. He worked closely alongside his father, mother, brother, and sister until the business was sold in 1997. He later continued his career with Interwest Brokerage Firm and eventually with Gus Paulos Chevrolet, where he worked until his retirement.

Above all, Jeff was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, loyal brother, and cherished friend. He found his greatest joy in spending time with family—sharing his love of golf with his son and granddaughter and always cherishing the moments he spent watching his daughter play softball. Jeff was known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and steadfast dedication to those he loved. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Chris Sandall; daughter, Adrianne Sandall; granddaughter, Charlotte Zufelt; son, Patrick (Jill Bess) Sandall, and bonus daughters, Brooke, Braylin, Brynleigh, and Blakely; sisters, Stacey (Bruce) Anderson and Sandra (Jennie Orland) Sandall; brother, Steve (Joann) Sandall; brothers-in-law, Jody (“Toad”) Loutensock, Bill (Ione) Bezzant, and Doug (Joan) Bezzant; sister-in-law, Pam (David) Slack; along with numerous friends, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne L. and LaVelle Hill Sandall; his sister, Shellie Lynn Loutensock; and sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bezzant Holman and Marge Bezzant.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the University of Utah Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Institute, and Huntsman at Home for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they provided. We truly could not have made it through this journey without every one of you.
