Jerry Dee Plake

Jerry was born December 13, 1953 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to John Richard and Bernice Irene Williams Plake. He passed away suddenly at his home in Magna, December 14, 2018.

Jerry married Catherine D Olsen December 16, 1989 in Provo Utah. Later they were sealed in the Provo Temple.

Jerry worked for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He worked in the printing department for many years until he was forced to retire due to medical issues. He was an active member of the church to the day of his death.

Jerry loved to do many things but most of all loved the outdoors and Christmas. He especially loved al the Christmas lights.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Cathy, 6 children with his first wife; Jerry Jr., Jolea, Tonya, Shannon, Aaron, Dustin, 3 children with his current wife; Mike, Matt, Josh.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Friday December 21, 2018 at the Spencer 1st Ward, 3084 S 8400 W, Magna. A viewing will be held 11-11:45 am prior to services at the church. Interment: Pleasant Green Cemetery, Magna.
