Our beautiful daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on March 23rd, 2021.

Jewelyn was born on March 21, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard and Peggy Shaw.

She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. Jewelyn had such a magnetic personality and could make friends wherever she went, the swimming pool, the campground, just to name a few. Jewelyn had a sweet tooth, which we believe contributed to her sweet personality. She loved listening to music, she loved to sing, and she always kept her journals close by for when the right moment struck inspiration to write.

Jewelyn had a love of helping others and always showed compassion and forgiveness. She had an incredibly tender heart.

Jewelyn was blessed with four handsome sons, Marc, Gabriel, Sebastian and Noah. Throughout her life, Jewelyn struggled with many demons, one of which was addiction which ultimately took her from her family.

We will miss her laughter and her fun personality and we are so saddened that she is no longer with us, but we are thankful that she can finally find peace and comfort from her struggles.

Jewelyn will be missed greatly, and we know that her presence will always be with us.

We find comfort in knowing that Jewelyn has now been reunited with her father in Heaven.

Jewelyn is survived by her mother, Peggy; her four children, Marc and wife Jenny, Gabriel, Sebastian, and Noah. Her two sisters, Amanda and her husband, Ryan, Samantha and her husband, Andrew. As well as her brother, Richard and his wife, Dianne.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Kent Shaw.

Funeral is at noon on Wednesday the 31st at LDS Church 3610 S 8400 W Magna Ut 84044. The viewing will be held from 10:30-11:45.

She will be laid to rest at Pleasant Green Cemetery 9200 W 3500 S Magna Ut 84044. Please follow the mask mandate.
