Anastacio Joe Villalobos III was born on September 10th 1971, he died on August 10th 2023 at the age of 51.
Joe is survived by his two sisters, Tonie and Virginia; his 3 daughters, Anastacia, Brina and Carley; his girlfriend, Laura; his separated wife, Sheila; and his dog, Tazz. He is preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Tyson.
He lived a very simple and full life of love and laughter, and loved anything to do with the outdoors, including hiking, camping, golfing, bowling, and just sitting under a big tree at the park. He loved fishing at Strawberry and shooting the tube at tanner park with his daughters. Joe loved homemade food, like banana pudding and chile verde. He loved cooking and making memories in the kitchen with his family. Even with homemade meals Joe loved a big bucket of KFC.
Joe would often go to Library Park on Sundays. He enjoyed the drum circle and most of all feeding anyone who was hungry. Joe always did what he could to help anyone in need, most of all strangers. He would give the shirt off his back if he saw someone in need of it more than him.
Joe was a very hardworking man and worked as a carpenter. In the city he would always point out the buildings or the homes he helped build. A few of his biggest accomplishments were building the 45th South bridge on the I-15 freeway, and Rice Eccles Stadium. He loved his profession and built many things for his daughters, including bunk beds, playgrounds and playhouses, and he still was building playhouses to this day.
Joe would tell us he’s “got to go now, bye”. But we’re all going to see him later. He is very loved and will be sorely missed.
