John David Hanlon

John David Hanlon age 60

March 18, 1966 - June 17, 2026

John passed away peacefully at his home with his wife and children after being diagnosed with cancer one month earlier. John was the hardest worker to have, he took pride in his family and military service.

John was born on March 18, 1966 in Colorado Springs, CO to Carol Ann Pine and Thomas Joseph Hanlon.

He married his wife, Sheri Chipman on July 7,2017 in Las Vegas, NV and inherited four children that he loved as if they were his own; Maria Leigh, Keith Chipman, Heather Chipman, and Alexandra Chipman.

John graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and was employed at Unisys and Allied. He served in the US Army and Army reserved from 2007 to 2013. John enjoyed four-wheeling, spending time with his family and working on home improvement projects.

He is survived by his brother; Brad Hanlon and sister; Dawn Stephens.

Preceded in death by his mother, Carol Pine; father, Thomas Hanlon; and sister, Teresa Langston.

John will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his loyalty, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love he gave to those around him. He leaves behind countless memories of family gatherings, truck rides with his dogs and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys.
