Larry Nielsen

On Friday, July 13th, 2018, Larry Gordon Nielsen, A loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Friend passed away at his home in Magna, Utah after a year and half fight with brain cancer at age 54.

He will be forever remembered by his loving wife Leslie Jeanine (Bingham) Nielsen who he was sealed to in the Jordan River Temple on September 19th 1986, their 4 kids, Cory, Kirstie, CJ (Kayla), Kylie, granddaughter Genevieve, his parents LeGrand and Marilyn Nielsen, As well as 5 sisters Lynette (John), Brenda (Ralph), Dana, Lisa, and Cheri (Shawn). He will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Larry spent most of his working career in HVAC and controls for the LDS church headquarters, as well as in maintenance at the vivant arena. In addition he was a helping hand for many people in his numerous church callings including young mens president, elders quorom president, and councilor in the bishopric. He impacted lives everywhere he went with his contagious smile and willingness to serve.

A viewing will be held at the Peel funeral home, 8525 west 2700 south, on July 18th at 6:00-8-00 PM. Funeral services will be July 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM with an additional viewing prior to service at 9:00-9:45 AM at the Spencer 4th meeting house, 8181 W. Breeze drive. He will be buried in the Dayton Cemetery in Dayton, Idaho following the service.
