Linda Poole Hulse

Linda Lee Poole Hulse, of Magna, UT passed away of lung cancer, having never smoked a day in her life, surrounded by her family on October 4, 2017. She was born February 7, 1941 Murray, UT to Reginald H. and Bertha D. Lancaster Poole. She graduated from Granite High School in 1959. Married Arthur Rodney Hulse in the Salt Lake Temple on December 15, 1961; he passed away November 9, 2008. Together they raised three children, Rhonda Trujillo, Ryan and Delbert Hulse and an Indian student for five years, Gary Begay. Linda was blessed with nine grandchildren, 3 great granddaughters. Preceded in death by her husband, Rodney; parents, Reg and Bertha Poole; sister, Leola Hegwer; and two nieces.

Linda enjoyed crocheting, gardening, quilting, all types of crafts, sewing Temple bibs for the Spokane Temple, and sharing her time and talents with others. She also enjoyed attending Magna Senior Center, volunteering at the Magna Utah Ethnic and Mining Museum, going to lunch with friends, and plays at the Empress Theater in Magna. She was a longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many callings, including ward and stake missions, a full-time mission with her husband in Harlan, KY, and the LDS employment center. She was the P.T.A. President at Lake Ridge Elementary. Worked at Sperry Univac, Remington Rand, and Granite School District.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. October 10, 2017 at Lake Ridge 3rd Ward, 3151 S. 7700 W., where viewings will be held both Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 12-12:45 p.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
