Linda Marie Stone

Linda Stone, 83, passed away peacefully in her home on February 18, 2026, in West Valley City, Utah. She was born on May 25, 1942, in Tabiona, Utah, to Curtis Jones and Jennie Chatwin. Linda married Byron Stone on September 26, 1960, in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Linda spent a lot of her time quilting and doing other crafts. She never saw a piece of fabric that she didn't love. Her beautiful quilts were often incredible gifts given to her grateful loved ones.

Linda is survived by Kenny (Michelle) Stone, Dennis (Teena) Stone, Patricia Stone, Sherilyn Stone Allen, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son, Guy Stone.

Graveside and interment service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Valley View Memorial Park. Friends and family may call on Thursday, February 26, from 6-9 pm at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. Magna Main St., Magna, Utah.
