Marie Florence Studham Willson

March 22, 1940 – April 5, 2022

Marie Florence Studham Willson was born to the late Clyde Larson Studham and Glenna Marie (Stallings) Studham in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 22, 1940. Her father was a truck driver, during that time he also helped put up the Eagle Gate Monument as well as the two cougars at the Hogle Zoo. Her mother was a housekeeper for many years at St. Mark’s Hospital. They provided her a modest, but loving upbringing.

Marie is survived by her son, Kenneth (Daisy) Broncho; grandsons Hunter, Cody, and Tyson; great-grandchildren Mowgli, Rock Lee, and Hades Lee; beloved niece, Paula (Duane) Humphrey, Melissa, and Jeremy.  She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Kathie Zaharias, brother, Lloyd Studham, daughter Rebecca Willson, and nephew, Kurtis Humphrey.

Marie was filled with the Holy Ghost on December 11, 1965. She was a faithful Saint of God and a true example of the love of Christ to all she met. A woman of few words and a delightful sense of humor. She was a hardworking lady that lived a life of service as a volunteer at LDS Hospital for many years, and later in kitchen services for years. In the past decade, she became a Senior Companion, helping other elderly that were not as fortunate as she. For being such a private person, she touched the hearts of many, showing kindness to young and old, alike.

Marie made lifelong friendships that felt more like family. Those individuals are too numerous to name but were fortunate enough to call her friend. Marie passed away peacefully on April 5, 2022, surrounded by loved ones, and on that day, Heaven gained the sweetest of souls.
