Marjorie Ann Taylor Jarvis

1935 ~ 2018

Marjorie was born on May 10, 1935 and passed away on February 23, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born to Arnold and Selinda Bringhurst Taylor. Marjorie married Gideon Stanford Jarvis on September 29, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had four children, David, Janet, Brent, and Steven. She has 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was active in the LDS Church having served in such capacities as pianist/organist in her wards. She was employed by the Sunday School General Office, Bennett’s Paint & Glass, and Tooele Army Depot. She was also the flag-bearer for the Magna Drum and Bugle Corps.

The family would like to thank all of those people who helped Marjorie with comfort and care during her last days, especially members of the ward and Encompass Home Care and Hospice.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Pleasant Green Chapel, 8739 W. 3000 S., where a viewing will be held Saturday 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
