Mary Jane Winn

Mary Jane Winn, 76, passed away on April 28, 2025, at St. Mark's Hospital in Millcreek, Utah. Mary Jane was born on November 5, 1948, in Panguitch, Utah to Hugh and Hortense Mortensen. Mary Jane married Jack Winn on July 17, 196,9, in Salt Lake City. 

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She had a very spirited personality. She held her family and friends close to her heart. A woman who gave so much to herself and everyone around her. Warmth, wisdom, and endless kindness to everyone she knew and loved. 

Mary Jane is survived by her husband, Jack David Winn; children, Jack Winn, Darren (Crystal) Winn, Amber Myers; family members, Paul (Nancy) Mortensen, Philip (Brenda) Mortensen, Margaret (Pete) Goff, and Troy Mortensen; and many grandchildren and one great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by Hugh & Hortence Mortensen, Creig Mortensen, Gary Mortensen, and Steve Mortensen.

A viewing will be held at Peel Funeral Home on May 4, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 8525 West Magna Main Street, Magna, Utah. Graveside services will be held at Utah Veterans Memorial Park at noon on Monday, May 5, 2025, located at 1711 South 1700 West, Bluffdale, Utah.
