Michael "Mickey" James Mower

Mickey passed away on the afternoon of June 10^th in Murray, Utah with complications after an injury.

Mickey was born to Merle and Alma in New Haven, Connecticut, however he shortly moved to Fairfield, Main where he grew up. Once he graduated from high school, he Joined the U.S Army, during deployment to Italy, he met and married his longtime friend and mother of his children Maria Rita Maynard (Dan).  Mickey retired from the U.S. Army Intelligence with full honors.

Mickey had a love for fishing and camping, he dedicated years to the Uinta lakes, rivers and camps, happy with company or being solo. He loved going to IHOP every Weekend where he found some of his strongest friendships. He had a passion for life while in his 80’s he enjoyed traveling and exploring. He continued to tinker in the yard and on projects with ambition and determination.

Mickey was proceeded in Death by his Parents Merle (Father), Alma (mother), Billy (Brother), Cubby (brother).

He is survived by his children Christina (Dale), David (Nique), Kelly (Kimberly) and his wonderful daughter-in-law Michelle Wilson Mower. His grandchildren Crystal (Oscar), Valarie, Zachary, Brooke (Daryl), Danny, Jessika (Jacob) and Christipher and 12 great grandchildren.

Mickey’s Wake will be held on June 17^th, 2023, at 12 noon until 8 pm. Location is 3853 S 3520 W West Valley
