Monna Lee Barns Hailey

Monna Lee Barns Hailey passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 28, 2012 in her home. She was born May 3, 1929 in Meade, Kansas to M. Dewey and Mable Hantla Barns.
She worked for 29 years as a book keeper for Cuban Cigar and Vending Specialist of West Valley City. She retired in 2009 at the age of 80. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 36 years, serving in many callings mostly having to do with her musical talents.
Preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and many other family and friends.
She is survived by three children, Steven (Donna) of Sayville, NY, Keith of Glendale, Arizona and Starr Campbell (Randall) of Magna, UT. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Clifford (Gena), Nate (Kayla), Alicia Gardner (CJ), John Steven, James, Stanley Campbell, Joseph, and Hailey Campbell; and great grandchildren, Tyson (Jayme), Jaimee, Zach, James Gardner, MacKenzie, Evee, Jordan Gardner, Sarah Gardner, Olivia Gregg Campbell, Kaitlyn Gardner and Brynlee Campbell. Her first great-great grand daughter will arrive in April 2012.
A visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2012 from 6pm to 8 pm at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. Magna Main (2700 So.), and a graveside service, to celebrate her life and share memories, will be Sat, April 7, 2012 at 11 am at Pleasant Green Cemetery, 9200 W 3500 So (up the hill) in Magna.
Heaven has received another beautiful voice, piano and sax player.
